Seeing Santa

We waited in line for an hour to see Santa this year. He was supposed to fly in on a helicopter but something went wrong and he rode in on the top of a fire truck. The kids also got an email from Santa. Me and Tessa made the messages at http://www.portablenorthpole.tv/ it personalizes their letters and the kids were so suprised Santa knew so much about them. They loved it! :)

Ganon is playing football again this year. Justin Walker is his coach. They won their first game against Snowflake. Ganon got to run the ball. He didnt get very far but he was so excited! And if you ask him he ran it forever! I love the picture of him and Tanner. Tanner has always been pretty protective over Ganon and it shows in this picture. :) They practice hard and play hard and I think when they are in High School they will be awesome after playing together all those years!

I have been driving by these wild flowers every day on my way to St Johns and I decided I needed some pictures in them! :) Adi just happened to have this adorable yellow and green summer dress that I thought would go great with all the yellow flowers. They ended up bright and cheery just like I planned! :) I had my sister take the ones of our family because I hate using a timer or a tripod and since it was kinda a last minute thing I didnt arrange to have one of my photog friends do them. But thanks sister they turned out perfect.

I think this might have been our busiest fourth yet! Jace played in the RV alumni game on friday night and scored 2 TDs! I was on the field taking pictures, lots of fun but I am definitly NOT a sports photographer! Then we had LOTS of family BBQ's. Erharts, Walkers and Ramsey's! Lance and our friend Chase Miller were in the wild horse race at the rodeo so we watched them. I got to babysit Jeri and Laura's sweet little boy while they went to the 10 year reunion and I got to take family pictures for the entire Eagar family! We managed to fit in the fireworks and had a sleep over with cousins that night. Needless to say I am STILL editing pictures of football, fireworks, BBQ's and rodeos but as always the 4th of July was a blast!

More pictures from our Colorado vacation. We love going to the cabin in CO every year. This year my dad bought the kids a 4 wheeler so they spent a lot of time on that. We played in the river almost every day, took our trip to Teluride to have lunch, played baseball, horse shoes, frisbee and just relaxed for a week! We had so much fun! Can't wait for next year!

I can't believe my baby boy is 7! Wow! He is definitly growing up. He can read, remember friends phone numbers, ride his bike two blocks to Grandma's, write his uncle Kell letters, make cereal by himself, feed the dogs, shoot a basket and swim! He is talking about getting baptized and wants to go back to the Philippines with Kellin to baptize his friend Day Day! He can be such a pest and a huge pain in the butt. But he has the sweetest heart and can make anyone smile. He is friends with everyone and he loves his mama. Today my dad and Ganon were bringing me something at work and when I walked outside he said "wow, she looks pretty today." How sweet is that! I love my G! Happy Birthday!

I've been meaning to post the story of Ganon's lost tooth. I don't know if you all remeber the last lost tooth story but Ganon came home off the bus with his tooth in a paper towel I asked him if he pulled it at school he said "no Tanner pulled it on the bus" Anyway so I work with Tanner's mom and she asked him why he pulled it and he said "well it was loose and Ganon needed money!" Ok so this time Ganon had been wiggling his tooth for a few days and one night I tried to pull it and it wouldn't come out so I took him to my dad's and he tried pulling it and his fingers were too big so he got his leatherman tool out and tried and still couldnt get it. (I have picture of my dad with a tool in Ganon's mouth and Ganon sitting there calm as can be I'll post as soon as I get off my camera.) So back to the story Ganon went to school the next day and came home with no front tooth. Kelly the babysitter sent me a picture from her phone and I asked her if he pulled it she said no a friend. Me-Tanner? Kelly- Yep good guess. I told Tanner's mom Tomee she better be ready to send him to dental school! I guess it saves me from having to pull them! He looks pretty ornery with a gap and his lisp is 10x worse!

Wow...I know.. it took me forever to post Easter pictures :) We had a great Easter this year. We went on a pic-nic at the Blue. It was a little windy but all in all nice weather. There was a cool little four wheeler trail in the little spot we stopped at so we rode four wheelers, played frisby, had an easter egg hunt, ate yummy lunch, layed in the sunshine, ate yummy cake, and ate some more! What a fun day!

We went tubing New Years day with Jace's family. We had so much fun! I remember when I was little someone ALWAYS got hurt when we went tubing with the Walkers. Ha ha I guess that's to be expected when there are more than a few Walkers on slick surfaces with fast moving objects! Thank goodness no one got hurt, we just had lots of fun. Ganon and Tae slept for hours after we got home and I don't think Ganon is completely re cooperated today. He is still sleepy and grouchy! I'm pretty sure we are going to have to make it a New Years tradition!

First Snow Yay!

It really IS the most wonderful time of the year! I love everything about it! From Black Friday shopping to Secret Santas, cookies and candy, lights, trees and decorations, snow and hot chocolate. But most of all just the spirit of Christmas. I love all the email stories of people helping others and the songs on the radio and better yet the hymns in church. I love, love, love the old Christmas movies and am so excited they are all on DVD now! So tonight we were watching Charlie Brown and Prep and Landing and admiring my tree that my kids love to redecorate 100 times a day and I took advantage of a perfect photo moment. I want to remember Christmas with my kids little because I know it will only be a matter of time and they won't believe in Santa or the magic of Christmas like they do now!

Ganon's football team the Mighty Mights played for the Championship on Sat and lost 7-14 in overtime! It was a really good game! I'm so proud of those little boys they practiced longer than the other teams in the cold and dark and they worked really hard. They were a little bummed to get second but Ganon was still happy to have a trophy at all. He was so proud that he made a block for Jace Taylor to score a touchdown. He had so much fun and doesn't want it to be over. I wish I could say the same! :)

Wow we have been crazy busy moving into our house and i just got my computer unpacked and hooked up so now I'm tryin to get caught up. I can't believe it is November already! I turned 26 in October and had my 7 year anniversary Nov 2! I can't believe how time flies! We just moved into a house with 3 bedrooms 2 baths and my favorite part. . . a laundry room and office!!! Yay it has been great! I'm not sure where we had all of this crap in our little apartment! I was sad to leave my cozy little apartment where I brought both of my babies home but we out grew it about three years ago :) We went from one Bishop Hamblin to another Bishop Hamblin :) Jace will be leaving this month to Philli, I will be starting a new job within the next two weeks and Christmas is almost here! Life is crazy with lots of scary new changes but so far I'm loving it!

Fall is my all time favorite time of year! I love love love all the colors. Even WEEDS look pretty in the fall! Our family takes a drive around Escadilla the first weekend in October to see the leaves and its kind of our mile marker for the time Kellin has been out on his mission. He left the second weekend in October last year so he has been out a year! It is crazy it honestly feels like we were just up there taking pictures with him before he left! Anyway I went a little crazy with fall pictures. I was having a bad day one day so I took off with my camera and took a picture of anything that reminded me of fall. It was good therapy! I just love this time of year I truely am and October baby. :)

I haven't been takin as many pictures of Ganon's football games as I should because it has been stinkin hot at all of them and I don't want to carry my camera around. But here are a couple that I love. It is the cutest thing, it takes up a lot of our time but I love the way it brings all those boys together. Even the older boys that wouldn't normally talk to the little guys are now good friends. Jace was #1 in highschool and he still has his jersys so I wore one to a game and Ganon said mom are you wearing #1 cause you're my number one fan! Ha ha I said well ya that and your football number is one too! Too cute! We play in Payson this Sat so I will post more of that game. We can't wait to play in the dome in a few weeks!

Ganon loves legos he is content to sit and play with them for hours. Jace has always loved legos too so they build some cool stuff like race cars and trucks to houses and garages, I'm pretty amazed at what they can build. The other day I walked in the door from taking pictures of my baby cousin Cason to see Ganon and Jace sitting on the living room floor with the whole bucket of legos dumped out. They were totally consumed in what they were building they didn't even notice me come in until I started taking pictures. It was so cute I'm glad I got some pictures. Its one of the only times Ganon slows down and gets lost in something. :)

Ganon is having the time of his life playing pee wee football. He is a lot smaller than the other guys but he makes up for it in heart! Justin Walker and Jeff Soderquist are his coaches and Justin said if my whole team had as much heart as Ganon we could beat the Varsity. Anyway it is the cutest thing you have ever seen. Those little boys strut around like they are the coolest thing! They had a game against Blue Ridge and they all did so good! I am amazed that they know how to play that young but there are some really talented young athletes out there already. It is going to be fun watching these guys when they get to highschool!

Jace helped coach a club softball team this summer and they went to a tournament in LA. They only had one game a day so they were able to hang out at the beach and spend a day at Disneyland. Ganon had a blast! I didn't get to go because they were gone for a week and I couldnt get off work but when Ganon called me at Disneyland he said "mom, I am LOVIN this" it was so cute. He loves all those softball girls so they had lots of fun together. I wish I could have seen the happiest kid at the happiest place on earth!

The Ramsey family has a cabin in a neat little valley in Cortez Colorado that we stayed at for a week this summer. I have been slacking on my blog lately and now I'm playing catch up. So anyway there is a river right by the cabin that we played in alot. The water was pretty cold but we took tubes and had lots of fun. Papa Scott built a really cool swing for the kids that and they used it everyday! We went fishing and Ganon and Papa caught four trout that we cooked on a fire that night and had them for dinner! We roasted marshmallows and made smores and had lots of time to relax! I even read a book! (My Sisters Keeper...EXCELLENT!) The cabin is only about and hour away from Telluride so we spent a day there and rode the Gondolla. Anyway we love staying at the cabin and I'm so grateful we have it in our family to escape to!

Ganon had his first T-ball game on Tuesday. It was hilarious, he hit a home run and the look on his face crossing home was priceless! He loved it. He had all the catcher gear on and had a perfect catcher's stance. The kid is die hard t-ball! Me and Adi had a pic nic outside and ran through the sprinkler on Wednesday. She layed on a blanket and listened to my ipod and thought she was sooo cool! And today we went to the Blue for mothers day. We rode four wheelers and played in the river (and got a nice sun burn!) And to make mothers day perfect we got to talk to Kellin!!! So much fun he is so funny, talking to him makes me miss him like crazy but it is going by fast so hopefully he will be home before we know it!

I have been so excited for some warm weather! Adison got lots of cute sun dresses for her birthday and I was thinking she would out grow them before it ever got warm enough to wear them, and FINALLY there were a few days last week that it was in the 70's so we put on a sun dress and went to the park for a few hours! She looks so cute and comfortable in her little pink sundress!

Ok I am just as surprised as everyone reading this that this hasn't already happened at my house! But we had our first experience with a 911 hang up tonight! Me and Ganon were in his room doing homework and Jace was at the gym playing basketball. Little miss Adi was playing with the phone and came running into the room saying Ha Ha as she handed me the phone, I heard a man's voice and automatically hung it up. Then i looked to see what number she had called and it was 911! So they called back to see if everything was ok and then two cops show up and walk through my house with flashlights to make sure it was safe!!! I was so embarrassed! Ganon was bawling because he was scared! It was a fiasco! But it happens to the best of us I have to just laugh and keep the phones put up!

We didn't do much for Easter this year because of the weather. We ate yummy dinner at Jacque's and hid eggs at my mom's. Adi looked so cute in her Easter dress and necklace! We had an awesome sharing time that really helped me and Ganon remember why we celebrate Easter!

So lately we have been having a hard time keeping cloths on Adi. As soon as she walks into a house she starts stripping! So I thought that maybe her diapers were bothering her and she was ready to be potty trained. So I put some Dora panties on her one day and she did pretty good but we were going to Tessa's to color eggs so I had to put the diaper back on. Well when we got to Tessa's she took off all her cloths and was running around and then she went in the corner and said, Ta Da...Pee! As she was peeing on the floor! So potty training might be somewhat of a challenge with this child!

We have had lots of fun for Spring Break! Aunt Ramsey had her baby on the 25th so we went to Phoenix to see him! He is adorable his name is Kage and he weighed 8lbs and was 20in long! With blonde, blonde hair! We love him!!! Then we went to Aunt Sheli's and hung out at the pool and played with cousins! And to finish off spring break Ganon is going to watch "Race to Witch Mountain" with his friend Tanner tomorrow! I'm so glad he has had fun during his break, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it actually went by kinda fast! ;)

I have had a lot going on lately and I'm sorry I haven't posted. Well there has been lots of good and bad. A few weekends ago we went to Phoenix for a softball tournament. They didn't win but they played until 11:30! Thanks to Nicole jinxing us! But it was fun and the weather was beautiful! Anyway then when we got home I have been having some major freaky anxiety attacks! But with the best family and friends ever, a priesthood blessing , a little bit of meds and a new job, I'm finally doing better! We took the kids bowling in Show Low this weekend and they had a blast! Ganon beat everyone but Jace! How sad is that! Him and Tae were so cute they would lean which ever way they wanted the ball to go. So anyway here are some pictures of the softball tournament and bowling.

Ganon came home from school and smiled and said "look what I did." His two front teeth have been loose and he has been so excited to loose them so he could go to the office and get a prize. So I asked him if Mrs. Benson pulled it at school and he said "no Tanner Brown pulled it on the bus!" I was laughing so hard, I wish I would have been there to hear the conversation that took place before the tooth was pulled! He said "I'm so excited to go to the office and get a prize!" I asked him if he had to take the tooth with him and he said "no mom you just show them the hole!" Ok I'm dying laughing at this point so I call my mom who works with Tommee, Tanner's mom. I asked her to call her and tell her the story. Tommee freaked out at first but then got a kick out of it too. She asked Tanner why he pulled it and he said, well it was loose and he needed some money! She said that he told Ganon "buddy you better get ready cause your gonna bleed all over the place!" I can't believe these boys! I remember being scared to death to have my dad pull my teeth and Ganon just lets his friends on the bus! He got $5 from the tooth fairy and he loves his smile! It is pretty cute, the child couldn't look any orneryer if he tried!

Jacque took me, Tylar, Paytyn and Ramsey to the Broadway play "The Lion King" at ASU Gammage Theater. It was not at all what I had expected. It was so much more! I loved it!!! The costumes and music were UNREAL! If you have never seen it you should definitely go! We went to the last show in Phoenix but I am definitely going to watch for it to come again! It was a great weekend, we had lots of fun shopping and eating out. Aunt Sheli made us some REALLY good fresh squeezed lemonade from the lemons off her tree and we just hung out! Oh and I found out that my nieces talk more than anyone I have ever met! And age 8-13 kids are just weird! But I love them anyways :) Thanks Jacque!!!

Me and Jace have been drinking the Acai berry drink Monavie. It comes in a dark glass bottle that resembles a wine bottle. It is supposed to do wonders, I don't really notice a difference, but anyway Ganon always asks if we are drinking alcohol and I tell him no its just juice. Then he asks if he can have some and i tell him no because it is expensive and only for grown ups to make them healthy. So Ganon is at my mom's the other day and he tells her "Grandma did you know alcohol is bad for you?" She says- yes it is bad for you. Ganon- my mom sure does love that alcohol! Grandma- WHAT? Then he says ya she says it is grape juice and it makes you healthy but I learned in Primary that it is bad for you! Ha Ha, So I am a little nervous that his Kindergarten and Primary teachers might be under the impression that I am a little bit of a lush!

So since I got my new camera for Christmas I've been taking pictures of EVERYTHING!!! I love it but I have also been beating myself up a little bit. Its funny this new camera has added a lot of pressure to take great pictures. I feel like they are all mediocre and I want them to be AWESOME! I am working on getting some photo editing software but right now they are all natural and un-edited. We had such a good Christmas! Ganon got a new bike and a leapster from Santa and Adi got a power wheels four wheeler and a puppy that barks and moves. They were so cute! I love watching my kids open presents. Santa LOVES me, he brought me a super cool camera (that I still can't figure out) and a pretty diamond necklace and bracelet! He's the best! Anyway I'm so bummed its all over. I love the spirit people have around Christmas and I love that everything about Christmas is so family oriented! Wednesday night was our GL Christmas party, so I was getting ready and I painted my toenails red. Adi walked in and must have thought that my toes were bleeding because she started patting my back and saying "ouch mom, oh ouch." Then I started blowing on them to dry them and she thought they were hot she started blowing with me sayin "hot...hot" I got a pretty good laugh out of it. Then the next day we were at my moms and she asked Adi if she wanted a drink and Adi said yes so my mom said ok say drink and she said "coke" Ha Ha we've taught her well. They are so funny when they first start talking!

Wow I can't beleive its almost December. My rule is always " no Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving." But I was bored so I did my page Christmas-E a day early. Kellin is doing really good. He is still at the MTC, he leaves for Naga December 1. He said the language is coming along good, they are teaching lessons in Tagalog now and he said its a blast. He told my dad it's as fun as playing football! He said he gets a rush form it! Goof ball! The guy on his right is Elder Kimball his companion and the other guys are in his district. Kell was just made the district leader which must mean he's too busy to write because I haven't gotten a letter in like a month! Mom and Amanda get emails every Monday! I was sending him a letter like once a week but I have cut back. I can't expect him to respond to every letter I know he is busy doing more important things! Ganon is an "Arthur" (author) so he wrote Kellin a book. The title was I want to be like Kell. It was sooo cute, I'm pretty sure it will make Kellin cry! They had an activity in Primary where the kids went on missions and got little name tags and Ganon really thinks he went on his mission! He always says mom where is that picture of me when I was on my mission! So here is Lil Elder Erhart :) Thanks Jace and Kellin for being a good example to him!

Jace is going to Philli the day after Thanksgiving! I can't believe its already this time of year! I hate it when he leaves, a few years ago I started having really bad anxiety attacks after he left. There was this really big bug in my kitchen and I freaked out I couldn't kill it so I sat on my kitchen table and squirted it with Windex! I think this year is going to be the hardest. Jace seriously does sooo much for me. When I get home from work my house is clean and my kids are bathed and in bed! When I do laundry, I wash it and dry it and put it on my bed and he folds it and puts it away! (definitely the most dreaded part of laundry!) Not to mention Adison is the biggest Daddy's girl and a lot of times he's the only one that can get her to sleep! Then the part I will miss the most, he writes me a sweet note every morning on a dry erase board! He used to leave a note in my car every night when we were dating and now I guess its just kinda a habit but I love it! So yes I am going to miss him like crazy! And if I am the biggest hag next month everyone will know why!

Ganon + School = ADD

Yesterday afternoon I got a call from Mrs. Benson telling me about her day. She said that she put Ganon in time out and he snuck out and then she was saying that he is very impulsive and hyper and she would like to have him tested for ADD. Which we have always kinda thought could be a possibility, but hoped that wasn't the case. I think like all parents the easy thing to do was to convince myself that he is just a VERY active 5 year old boy. But when his teacher is telling you what she thinks, it makes it very real and kind of scary. I just don't know how to help him and I don't want it to be something that he struggles with in school forever! Of course as soon as I got off the phone I went to Google and looked it up. One of the articles I read said that getting him up earlier and having him exercise for fifteen minutes would release the chemical in his brain that would do basically the same thing as Ritalin, another article said to have his teacher watch and when he is starting to get restless to have him take something to the library or office just to get him up and moving a little so he wouldn't be distracted so easily. I'm really uneducated when it comes to this and I would rather not put him on any kind of medication, so if anyone has any ideas or resources, please let me know. I'm trying to keep a good outlook and think of it as a challenge and a learning experience but I'm feeling a little helpless so far and I feel really bad for poor Mrs. Benson. I think she probably sees it more at school than I do at home since he has to sit still at school.

Trick or Treat!

This year for Halloween Ganon was Optimus Prime and Adi was a Kitty. I made a black and orange tutu for Adison's costume and I was pretty sure she would throw a fit about wearing it, but to my surprise she loved it! She was actually having a lot of fun trick or treating, she thought she was so big! Ganon has been wearing his costume at least once a week since we got it. Sami drove by my mom's the other day and Ganon was jumping on the tramp in his costume! Corbyn said look mom that looks like Optimus Prime! Such a stupid holiday, but it's all for the kids, right?!

So both of my kids think they are "Rock Stars". The other day me and Adison were in the car and Pink- So what came on, she loves that song! I was on my phone and she started hitting my shoulder and saying mom... mom... mom so I finally turned the music up and she started dancing like CRAZY, headbanging and laughing! Then the next day I was getting Ganon ready for school and he was wearing his favorite red shirt that has some kind of graphic on it and I got him a new, brown stripped sweat shirt. When he put it on he laughed and said, mom everyone is going to think I'm a Rock Star... I look so cool! LOL they crack me up

Our Never Ending Fight!

When Adison was in the Hospital she slept all the time, I couldn't even wake her up to eat. Jace and I thought we had gotten our "sweet" baby, our "I'm sorry for Ganon", but we were wrong, truth was she was just sleepy cause she was sick and once they started giving her antibiotics she started waking up like a normal newborn. And then the "fight" began! She has been HELL, she slept with us for the first 8 months while I was still nursing then getting her in her own bed was a nightmare! It took about two weeks of screaming fights at bed time to get her used to it. Then she actually started to like her crib for a while. And now we are back to screaming fights at bed time again! I'm not exactly sure what is causing it, could be that whenever I try to put her to bed and she cries Jace comes and gets her and lets her fall asleep on the couch while he watches TV, or it could be that she stayed the night with Tessa a few weekends ago and slept in her bed with her and now she thinks she needs to sleep with me I don't know but I'm going CRAZY! I don't understand why she would rather sleep on the floor or couch than in HER bed! She just likes to fight with me! In the ICU when she slept like a little angel

We have taken family pictures on Escadilla every year when the leaves turn since I can remember. This year was bitter sweet, we took them a little earlier than we usually do because Kellin was leaving Oct 1 and this will be the last picture with our whole family until he gets home. My family went to Provo on Monday to take Kellin to the MTC. It is a LONG drive, especially with two bratty girls. We took two cars my mom, dad and Kellin in one car and me, Tessa, Tae and Adi in the other! Ya we got the shaft! Anyway on Tuesday we went and walked around Temple Square and took a tour of the Conference Building and watched the movie Legacy in the visitors center. The Salt Lake Temple and all the buildings around it are absolutely beautiful! Then on Wednesday Kell had to be to the MTC at one so we went to breakfast and me and Tessa decided that it would be easier for Kellin to say bye to us at the motel, it didn't really matter where the goodbye took place it was still hard! I think that walking around the temple and watching Legacy really helped us feel better about leaving him. I am so proud of him and he is going to be such a good missionary! I can't wait for him to get to Naga to start getting letters from him! It was really hard but a truly amazing experience!

So I saw a picture of Britney Garners little girl on her blog in a TuTu that Britney made! Ally looked very unhappy in her TuTu and my first thought was that is exactly what Adi would look like if she was wearing a TuTu! She is not at all the girl I thought I would have, she hates earrings, bows, dresses, and basically everything else that is girly. But I fell COMPLETELY in love with that little TuTu and I had to have one even if I could only get one picture in it! And just as I thought Adi is not a big fan! It is so freakin cute though I'm going to keep trying. I talk it up every time we see it I say, "Oh Adi there is your sooo cute TuTu, I love it! If you ware it I'll take your picture! Ya I'm pathetic I know! Oh crap the best part of the whole story... Ganon came home from school just as I finished the TuTu and he asked who it was for and I said Adi and he saw some more material and asked who that was for and I said I'm going to make Tae one too, he said can I try Tae's on? I said no its a TuTu for girls and he said (totally bummed out) Well can you make me a MAN suit! I thought I was going to pass out from laughing! Thanks for the cute idea Britney!

Our friend Donny from Philadelphia has been here this week for his elk hunt. He killed an elk the second day he was here and he wasn't planning on flying out until Friday. Everyone had to go back to work and Donny was pretty bored, so me and Adi took him to Greer to fly fish. It was fun, me and Adison fed the ducks while Donny fished. When he caught a fish Adi got so excited, she even touched it!

The Races

Lance was at Ganon's soccer game on Saturday and he was telling him that there was going to be DIRT BIKES at the races that night. When Ganon got home that was ALL he talked about, so I had to take him! We had a blast like always! I love the races! Ganon LOVED the dirt bikes, Keanon took him down to get the guys autographs. He put the picture that they signed in a frame in his room! He kept telling me "those cars are fast!" He was so tired but he hung in until the end. I had to work today, covering a shift. Jace doesn't usually have to work Friday so I had just planned on him watching Adi but he had a small job in St.Johns. He was going to leave her with my dad but he was on the mountain so he TOOK her to work! When I got home she was filthy! Ganon starts Kindergarten this year and we're FREAKIN out! His poor teacher! He has been on a cowboy kick this whole summer, he would wear the same shirt, pants, boots and hat every day if I would let him! We've gotten in some big fights over him having to change his "cowboy clothes" we made a deal that he could be a cowboy every other day he had to be what he calls normal on the other days! He is such a kick and I'm not sure what we're going to do with him but thank goodness for all day kindergarten!

Its been eight weeks since Lance's wreck and it is a miracle how well he is doing! We have taken a few pictures to show him how far he has come and he told me it was ok to put them on my blog. He is really surprised at all the people that have followed his progress and he is very thankful for all concern and prayers! This whole thing has left a lot of us wondering how or if this would change him and I'm glad to say that he is still the same ol Lance for the most part, still a sweet talker, still has no patience and is still the shits, but he is defintily humble and absolutely gratefull for everyone and everything in his life!

My good friend Thai is moving to Tucson this Sunday and I don't know what I'll do without her! She has had the craziest life and is one of the neatest people I know. She has been on her own since she was fifteen, thats when I met her waiting tables at Greer Lodge to pay her bills while she was a freshman in highschool! I can tell her anything and she never judges me and she always tells me how it is even if I don't want to hear it! We have had so much fun the past couple years, renting cabins in Greer and hangin out at Molly's! San Diego Trip

Greg and Jacque have a time share in San Diego and since they couldn't go this year they let us take their condo! We had so much fun. There is a really cool water play area where there are huge flowers that spray water and a water slide for the kids. We went to Mission Beach and met up with the Coombs and then went to Sea World and watched the Shamu night show with lights and fireworks. We attempted to boogie board! The little kids out that were doing it made it look really easy... Its NOT! I failed misserably! Anyway we all got fried and had lots of fun!

Stronger Every Day

Lance is doing great! The Docotrs had said that they would start speech and physical therapy on Mon 7/21, but they only expected to teach him sounds for now and when Jacque got to his room Monday morning he looked at her and said " Hi Mom!" She said she cried like a baby! He is doing physical therapy and is standing like 15 min at a time. He is getting stronger everyday and we can't wait to bring him home!

Good News

Lance has been doing much better! They have moved him out of ICU and into a normal room. He was awake this weekend when we went to see him and since he wasn't in ICU we were able to take our kids. Ganon was so sweet he just stood by him and rubbed his hand, and when I took Adi over by his bed his eyes light up and he looked so happy to see her! Then when we were leaving she blew him a kiss and he tried to blow her one back... it was the sweetest thing, I almost cried! I'm so glad to be able to see his expressions! He's not able to talk yet but his face says what he's thinking! We love him and are so happy he's finally doing better.

Kellins Call

Kellin got his call yesterday to Naga Philippines speaking Tagalog. He is so excited and a little nervous. I think he had prepared himself for Spanish but not a language that he's never even heard before! He is so smart so there is no doubt in my mind he will be able to pick it up! He was pumped because his papers say he can wear flip flops with his suit! I really pictured him being called to an island somewhere. I can't imagine how tan he will be when he gets home! All the people there are Asian looking so he will probably tower them. We are so proud of him and can't beleive he will be half way around the world! He leaves to the MTC October 1 so Carla has a little time to prepare herself for her "BABY" leaving!

Finally a good day!

Jacque said Lance is doing a little better the last few days. He is still sedated but his fever is gone so hopefully so is the infection. His lungs are still in bad shape but they are waiting for him to be stable enough to do a surgery to clean them out. He's not in the clear yet but he's showing some inprovement hopefully from here on out! I can't beleive how strong Greg and Jacque are, I'm truely amazed, but I guess strong faith and lots of support helps. I'm making a scrapbook for Lance and looking at his baby pictures I never realized how much Adison looks like him! He was the cutest stinkin baby ever! He hasn't changed much, he looks just as fun then as he is now! We are so anxious for him to wake up and talk, we miss him like crazy!

Update on Lance

We were in Phoenix with Lance again this weekend, he was stable and we thought he was getting a little better but he had a bad day on Sat. The Doctor came in and told us they found a blood clot in his lung that was causing him not to be able to use that lung, they were really worried about it. Greg and Uncle Brannon gave him another blessing and the next day the doctors put him in this bed that turns him over so his circulation will be better. He was a little better Sunday his oxygen levels had gone back up, but today his oxygen is back down and they are worried again, he's got a lot of fluid on his lungs a blood clot in one and pneumonia. So please keep praying for him. We really appreciate all the love, support and prayers!

My poor Lancey sweetie! I know there are a thousand rumors about his wreck and even I don't know the whole story because the only person that knows exactly what happened is in St. Joe's ICU. I do know that it is a miracle he is alive and hopefully won't have any long term effects. He is incredibly blessed with a big family and LOTS of friends who love and care about him. The entire waiting room was full of people and some friends would leave and new friends would come and some just stayed there the whole time, but he has lots of love and support! I love our little town by, 7 am the morning of the accident we had so many phone calls asking about him and if there was anything they could do for our families. I'm so thankful to live in a little town where everyone knows you and really cares about you and are so willing to help. Anyway Lance is going to be ok he will be recovering for a long time he has quite a few broken bones and some damage to internal organs so he still has a long road ahead, but we're SOOO thankful he will be ok and its a good thing he's so tough! We love our Lancey! Thanks for all the love and support!!!

I'm so proud of my little brother, He is preparing to go on a mission instead of another year at Adams State on a scholarship. He is now an Elder and he just turned in his mission papers. I'm so excited to see where he'll be called. He is going to be such a good missionary! I can't imagine many people opening the door and seeing him and turning him away! j/k I'm thankful he has had such good friends and influences in his life because I know I have never been a good example for him and I wish I had been. We were in the Valley last weekend for Jace's softball tournement and I had the kids pictures taken while we were down there.
